A real estate brokerage in Denver is facing a lawsuit for failure to pay approximately $140,000 in unpaid commissions, with a group of real estate agents and associates seeking to recover the funds through action in Denver County District Court. The plaintiffs include a group of real estate professionals based in Houston, who say that Bamboo Reality has allegedly withheld the funds due to them for work performed between October 2011 and September 2015. In the lawsuit, the plaintiffs allege that the owners of Bamboo Realty failed to pay commissions out of the money received from management companies, despite repeated demands for payment on the part of the agents and associates. Bob Debes of Shellist Lazarz Slobin LLP represents the plaintiffs, along with Brooke Meyer and Rachel Ellis of Livelihood Law.
